Shipping & Returns Policies
SHIPPING: At Central Equipment, getting our products to you is a priority. We ship items to our customers as quickly and effectively as possible – often in less than 24 hours from being ordered. If items are in stock, we can ship orders received by 12:00pm EST same day. Many items under seventy pounds can be shipped with UPS Ground. However, there are larger items over seventy pounds like pumps, hoses and tanks that must be shipped using LTL Freight Shipping or picked up by the customer. Shipping charges with UPS Ground vary depending on the items and quantity ordered. UPS Ground calculates shipping charges based on weight and dimensions of combined items. Items can be combined and shipped in one or multiple boxes depending on the size of the order. (The shipping calculated on our website is only an approximation. Actual cost will be calculated at the time of shipment.) Shipping charges with LTL Freight Shipping vary depending on the type of item, weight, dimensions, delivery location (commercial or residential) delivery type (school, municipality, military base… etc.), lift gate; Please let us know if any apply to your shipment at time of quoting so there are no additional shipping costs.
DAMAGED ITEMS: Important: *Customers must inspect all shipments before signing clear on the delivery receipt or Bill of Lading at the time of delivery. If there are any damages of packages or items, the shipping carrier must be notified before signing clear. If you find any items damaged a report must immediately be filed with the shipping carrier. The shipping carrier may need to inspect the shipment so please keep all packing for evaluation.
RECEIPT OF TANK: *At time of delivery please thoroughly check tank for any damages. Before signing clear to accept delivery please have shipping carrier note any damages that are seen on the tank. For tank installation, please refer to the tank manufacturer’s instructions. The instructions can be found using the links provided here:

RETURN POLICY: Central Equipment would like you to be satisfied with your order. All returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. Items must be in original packaging and in new and unused condition. A restocking fee may be incurred on any non-inventory items returned for credit or exchange.
If you wish to return an item, please contact Central Equipment for a Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA Number) either via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or phone: call 1-800-706-5060. In order to help you efficiently, please have your order number and part number ready before you call, this will help speed up the return process. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Any returns sent without an RGA number or shipping collect will not be accepted.

DISCREPANCY WITH ORDER: If you have a discrepancy with an order. Please notify us within five days of item receipt. We will send the corrected item out right away and include a prepaid shipping return label to easily return the incorrect item. Once we receive and evaluate shipment, you will receive a refund for the incorrect item. *Claims for shortages or inaccurate filling of orders must be made within 5 days after the receipt of goods.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Orders can be cancelled without fees if items are in stock and have not shipped. If items have shipped, the customer is responsible for the shipping charges. For special order (non-stock) items, a restocking fee will be charged per item manufacturer policy.
WARRANTY: For warranty claims, Central Equipment will assist you in the process of manufacture warranty claims.
